REACH
REACH is the european chemistry regulation to register, evaluate, permit and limit chemical substances. REACH is derived from the title:
“Regulation concerning the Registration , Evaluation , Authorisation and Restriction of CHemicals”
The regulation was found in 2007 and should ensure the protection of environment and human health on a high level. The REACH-Regulation is one of the strictest chemicals act in the world. In principle it requires that manufacturer, importer and user should assume responsibility for their chemical substances. They have to ensure that their chemical substances are used safely.
