CobiNet was awarded as employer of the future.

With the “Employer of the Future” seal, DIND (Deutsches Innovationsinstitut für Nachhaltigkeit und Digitalisierung) wants to help companies draw attention to themselves in the fiercely contested competition for workers. Now, CobiNet, a medium-sized German developer and manufacturer of connection and cabling solutions in telecommunications and data network technology, has been awarded the high-profile seal.

Visibility and trustworthiness are a decisive factor in the fight for workers and junior employees today. “A seal like that as an employer of the future contributes decisively to this,” Wolfgang Schuh, Managing Director of CobiNet Fernmelde- und Datennetzkomponenten GmbH, explains the company’s participation in the initiative.

CobiNet was audited by DIND for the award. This involved topics of company social responsibility, from the health protection of employees to environmental compatibility and the CO2 footprint to the sustainability of products and business models. Another main focus is on customer, employee and service orientation in connection with digitization, which is examined in a broad analysis as part of the qualification process. The appearance on the Internet with company website and matching webshop are essential here.

Sustainability as well as the digital presence and networking as aspects for the future viability and thus the success of a company are particularly interesting for young, highly qualified employees. “With the award, we create transparency and show that CobiNet is also well positioned as an employer.”
