With its TopConnect LSA Cat. 7 600MHz cable connector, CobiNet is introducing a new network component that connects AWG26 up to AWG22 cables without having any significant effect on transmission quality. The chamber screening of the individual pairs ensures superior transmission parameters that have never before been available for cable connectors. With this cable connector, high-quality installation cables are easily able to exceed the values required by the component standard. As a result, no problems are encountered even in a mix-and-match data network. The proven LSA technology with contacts angled at 45° ensures quick and easy installation.

The metalized plastic casing provides protection against electromagnetic irradiation and radiation. The casing is easy to open, thus making multiple rewiring possible. The top and bottom of the casing are screwed together, and the use of spring contacts ensures a 360° screen contact that is separate from the strain relief. Two pre-shaped openings make it possible to attach the casing to mounting plates or to a wall with screws. The compact TopConnect LSA Cat. 7 is also suitable for use in parapet ducts. Whether it is a matter of extending cables or whole bundles of cables, or of rejoining damaged cables, the cable connector avoids the need to relay stretches of cable completely from scratch.
